Moon Kook-hyun officially proposes to Chung Dong-young this morning either one of them should run in the presidential election. He said “either I or Chung Dong-young should make ‘a decision of sacrifice’ by 16th after going under evaluation by people regarding who should lead a new Korea.”

Chung’s party immediately welcomed the proposal but said the timing should be advanced.

Mr. Moon suggests having one-on-one debate with Chung to show people “who is really capable of making a ‘real economy,’ which is centered around people, by reviving our economy and mid-sized companies, creating good jobs and slashing the number of irregular works.”

He said “I am not saying to form an alliance but either one of us should make a tough decision.”
